I think I may have stopped reading Scion by this storyline but love that Cheung and Hillsman kept the art at such a high quality almost three years in. Despite the lack of backgrounds, the art jumps off this page and signals all of the celebrity that Jim would soon be enjoying.

Nadia kicks into full Terminator mode and showed us what she was working with over the next two pages.

I got this along with p 21 as a combo lot from HA in 2024. And, coincidentally, I already owned 22. Love have sequential pages.

Great art when Cheung was the star more then the stories. This is the work that propelled him to the next level and made him highly coveted of a talent.

Thanks for helping to kick it off by selling me p 22, George. I love this series so much that I have to physically restrain myself from buying too many pages from it.

WOW - congrats, Christopher, on not only putting together a three page sequence, but a -lovely- three page sequence at that! That's almost a given, considering you're talking about Jim Cheung, of course, but the drama (and, again, beauty) of the moment is served well by the splashy nature of the three pages. It's tough to reassemble a bit of a book anymore, and this is a really sweet sequence to assemble, Christopher! Just twenty more pages to go, right? ;) Congrats!
