Day Five of me trying to get a like from Bill Cox...and a piece chosen for a Comic Art Fans Update.

As I hit day five, this is starting to feel like a gaming campaign. More like Call of Duty than Comic Art Fans so I'm coming in hot...yet again! This time without my mom yelling in the background that dinner is ready after five straight hours of pew pewing with my fingers locked on a controller, but I've got it in me to ignore that noise and power through! So here we have an absolute stunner by Chris Stevens. Painted on a 12x16 Gessobord. And in keeping with a Call of Duty theme, the Capt...because as you are all aware, Captain America is one of Bill Cox's favorite character of all time. Fingers crossed, clicking "add artwork" and seeing where this is going to go.

That Stevens color palette makes you feel that this is from the 1940's! Escpecially with those light tone choices in the back and the stone like textures of mass and weight. If Bill ain't picking this, he must be busy picking his nose.
