WOW!

There's a lot I can say about this piece, but mostly just... WOW!

This was a reward for supporting Tom's Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/tommandrake) for one year and it exceeded all my expectations.

Tom's primarily known for his monsters and horror comics, so I factored that in when I gave him a list of possible characters. And then when I slept on it, I messaged him again, because I'd thought about it further and there were only two characters that I couldn't get out of my head: Clayface and Man-Bat.

I let Tom decide which he wanted to draw and asked for it to be a surprise.

When I got the art and saw what he'd done for the first time, I honestly grinned ear to ear. It's SO damn good. Man-Bat looks amazing. So creepy and monstrous, like a hulking beast.
It's such a great, evocative pose, full of character, even if technically he's just standing there. He's almost bursting free of the page.

I also love Tom's inking. Every line feels just as rough as Man-Bat, just as full of a beastly energy. It fits the subject matter perfectly.

So happy with this!
