Description

This run of the Doom Patrol is MUCH better known for the Morrison/Case issues. But, it started off life as a more typical DC book of the age. This page features just about all of the characters that made up the roster.

And, in issue 6, it featured a young Erik Larsen on the on art. Inked by Gary Martin, Larsen's art represented a dramatic departure from Steve Lightle, who kicked off the new series.

But, looking back, it was really nice, early Erik. You can see a lot of what he later took with him to Marvel and then Image in these early published pages.

This is a great 11 x 17 page in excellent condition. It has a little bit of production trim at the top.
