DescriptionHappy Valentine's Day people! Out this week, Quentin and Phoebe go on a date but without giving anything spoilery away, there's a lot more to this issue. With the subtitle "The thousand deaths and one life of Quentin Quire", Newsarama sums it up perfectly - "When Wanda Maximoff said, "No more mutants," she meant, "No more Quentin Quire, specifically". Quentin Quire is the one X-Man you hope gets brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe just so Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury can give a firm talking to him, with that one F-Bomb allotted to PG-13 films thrown in for good measure. He's annoying almost to the point of being insufferable, and so it's always a pleasure to read a comic that balances that line and reminds you why you love this jerk. X-Force #17 is that comic." The only cover since #1 to have the whole team on it, I was absolutely delighted when Josh told me this was still available, my second cover by Josh and I am sure there will be more to follow. In the meantime, thanks again Josh! A great addition to my Gallery of X and the first in my Reign of X collection. Solicitation -- LOVE AND DEATH! Death gives QUENTIN QUIRE a new lease on life. Long live Quentin Quire! Social/Sharing |

I love that it's a beautifully drawn superhero battle cover, but it also has great humor. His T-shirt is great, it really brings back memories of my youth in the 80s. Cassara is a very interesting new artist. Good call on this piece. Congrats!

Great cover, Ed, with the happy couple in front vs the big X battle in the back! Nice tonal work, too, as per usual with Josh. Congrats!

This is such a stunning cover! Loved the issue!
Joshua is such a great artist. I have a few pieces from him coming but with the right budget I might have snugged this one from under your nose hahaha
