DescriptionAnyone that knows me even a little knows how I love Al Williamson's work, and his work on Flash Gordon perhaps most of all.This cover was the first time I recalled seeing Al's version. I was 14 when this was on the stands, and I immediately bought it. Here, Gary Martin does a very faithful recreation of that cover. I saw the original cover once. This will definitely do. Wally - you saw the original once? I thought this Williamson cover is the one stolen from KFS.

It was, indeed, Ray. Made its way to Italy, if I recall, but my memory is a sieve anymore.
