Description

I'm a long-time fan of Mignola and, with prices ever rising, saw this as a last chance to pick up a cover from him that featured the 3 core and original characters of his Hellboy books.

Of note [includes spoilers]: This issue features the return of Rasputin, resurrected through his daughter, as he becomes the host for the dragon. As stated above, it features Mignola�s original 3 core BPRD characters but is also (as far as I�ve found) 1 of only 8 instances (7 covers + 1 page panel) where Mignola himself draws Abe Sapien in his final form; and only 1 of 3 covers featuring him in that form alongside Liz and Hellboy (this cover, a painted variant for the same issue, and a TPB cover).
