DescriptionThis is an amazing piece with great detail in the glass behind Vigilante as it reflects the gothic mansion across the street that he's facing. This also has an amazing backstory in that the original owner bought it directly from Dan and put it in a storage locker and forgot all about it until it was found recently. Special thanks to my friend Kevin for brokering the deal. The printed version doesn't do the original art any justice. Social/Sharing |

Lots of angles at play with such a amazing figure image and then the incredible reflection work. I don't think many examples of this effect have been used.

I don't recall ever seeing that idea. Before or since. Considering how many buildings now have those glass panels this is just a standout.

Truly a great cover, especially with the distored mirrored background. I once spent a couple of years going around Manhattan photographic building windows with just that sort of reflections.

Great cover! I always thought Vigilante had some of the best covers of any series. Every artist seemed to bring their A+ game when doing a cover for this series.

Another great cover from this title. Brilliant execution by fellow Canadian Dan Day! For those of you who aren't aware, the artist is the brother of 70's and early 80's artist Gene Day, who died of a coronary in 1982 at the age of only 31.

Killer cover! Love the pairing of Vigilante's sleek all-black costume and the mirrored images in the building behind him.

A piece of old art, that's a 37 dollar bill right there.

That's an incredible piece of work! Great pick up Peter - a finely designed cover with ever better execution. Amazing find in storage to be sure - congratulations!

Ok, time to stop marveling at that reflection and leave a comment. Congrats, Peter, absolutely briliant acquisition.

The stark, modern mostly black costume contrasts brilliantly with the distorted gothic mansion. Cheers on finding this buried treasure.

WOW. Amazing piece. The image warping effect background juxtaposed with Vigilante in the foreground is so killer.
