DescriptionWell… I wanted to post this today because it is Thanksgiving… and This page makes me thankful on so many levels… thankful for the seller for letting me buy this as well as being flexible and accommodating and a great friend! (thank you again Dino!) thankful for CAF or I would have never known this piece was available.. thankful for being in a position in life to be able to add this prime piece of Comic history to my collection.. thankful to John Byrne and Dan Green for creating this masterpiece of a page …This page is the cherry on top of my collection. John Byrne is known for a lot of things.. but I personally think his run on X-men and specifically his development of wolverine in that run is the most important thing. Iron Fist 15 was the second time he had drawn Wolverine and the “try out” issue for his run on the X-men book. That’s all great- but how about the action on this page???? Wolverine wearing his “fang costume” brawling with Iron Fist in ever panel!!! I can not stop looking at it….thank you! Social/Sharing |

Killer example! Rumor has it that Dave Cockrum touched up some of the faces in this issue so you just may have two of the X-Men legends' drawing this page!

Byrne honed his ability to draw dynamic action and distinct characters on MTU and Iron Fist, and this issue showed he was ready to take that next step on the X-Men. He definitely passed the audition. Cheers!

An amazaing action page between Iron Fist and Wolverine by the master. You can't beat this one for the action and nostalgia. Congrats.

It's a stunner! Very memorable page with two of Byrne's best runs represented, congrats on pulling the trigger as I am sure you would have regretted being slow on this one!

Congrats Jason on being the caretaker of this amazing page of comic history! Back in the 80's before X-Men oversaturation to boost sales became the norm, Iron Fist #15 was certainly one of the most desireable and prized X-Men crossover issues... to own a page from it is incredibly cool and such a prime battle action page between Iron Fist and Wolverine even moreso. What great layouts for your eyes to savor the action and that sweet middle page panel!!! And agree 100% about Byrne's original run on X-Men - although he has certainly done some other good stuff afterward nothing tops it - it's effect on the development of comics moving forward and Wolverine as a breakout character is profound.

Hey Bub! By Kun' Lun' What a flamin' awesome page. A pure perfect Byrne Wolvie action page. What happens when Iron Fist goes against an opponent that is ornery and wont stay down. This is it! Fantastic acquisition I would keep looking at it too. That wide panel Kick is so great.

Oh, this must be the Byrne "Fang Wolverine" you mentioned. Very cool page! Plus, I think Byrne's Iron Fist is the best around.
