Description

I was a big fan of the second version Of Death’s Head..I thought the character was just visually unique.. and he lead the British Invasion of the Marvel universe in the early 90s with the Marvel UK line . Now obviously they drew me in by having the X-men or wolverine in so many issues , but I stayed for the new character . It’s also where I first saw Liam Sharp’s art and loved it! Been looking for a nice example of the series by Liam for a while and this one popped up in caf live last year and couldn’t buy it quick enough! You have Wolvie and our New hero .. but it’s actually the crazy Half splash of the villain encompassing the bottom half of the page that I loved so much. It just seems like Liam is just going crazy on this and Ramos channeled that energy in the inks!

Bloody great! Wolvie and Death's Head by Sharp do a number on the raptor. Ramos made it as bloody as possible as the blood splatter even went over the word balloons.

This was one of my favorite comics from the 90s! Congrats on snagging this one.

great storytelling and visual style on this page, Sharp and Ramos make for an interesting pairing bringing their styles equally apparent on the art - nice pickup!
