DescriptionGreat pinups featuring three of the Young All-Stars: Dan the Dyna-Mite, Flying Fox and Iron Munro.Used in the 2001 JSA Sourcebook. The JSA Sourcebook is a RPG book that covered the JSA & related heroes and villains. Along with Steve Lightle the interiors were illustrated by Eric Battle, Sergio Cariello, Tomm Coker, Tom Grindberg, Tom Grummett, Marshall Rogers, Paul Ryan, Stephen Sadowski, Joe Staton and Mike Wieringo. It sports a great JSA cover by Tom Grummett. These were used for spot illustrations of each character. The Flying Fox was also used as a chapter splash. I'm a big fan of Steve Lightle and I love seeing him draw these characters. The Flying Fox alone was worth getting this piece. Steve also did the illustrations for Neptune Perkins, Fury and Tsunami and more detailed pieces of the JSA. Young All-Stars: Dan the Dyna-Mite, Flying Fox and Iron Munro by Steve Lightle. It was very hard to get photos of the interior pages. Sadly I couldn't get a good shot of the Iron Munro or Dan the Dyna-mite pages. Maybe the one time I need a scanner. I will try again. Wow, Steve Lightle doing Young All-Stars?!? Never knew! I really enjoyed that book when it came out. These are really nice illustrations, too. What IS a JLA Sourcebook, though? Sounds like a roll playing game....

It is a RPG book. It has a great JSA cover by Tom Grummett. Grummett also did the spot illustrations for the 7 Soldiers of Victory.

Shows a different style of inking for each and each one effective in showing the impact of their characterizations!

Oh wow, I just saw the Grummett Source Book cover of the JSA. I WANT the original! Probably the only JSA published cover ever done by Grummet I would think.

Right?! such a great cover. I believe the owner of the original on CAF has "not on your life" in the for sale status though, so....
