This is the original artwork created by Errol McCarthy for the Atari and Intellivision video game box covers, which were released in 1983.

This is very early Masters of the Universe artwork created by Errol who did lots of the MOTU card artworks and comic art.

Master of the Universe fever was in full swing by 1983! To make it as a video game property was a major milestone back then. The early 80's pumped up muscle men look was all the rage as they were bigger than life action heroes that were very inspiring to young boys.
