DescriptionThe Tomb of Dracula was one of my favorite comics growing up due in large part to the glorious marriage of Gene Colan's pencils and Tom Palmer's inks. This page from Issue No. 34, "Showdown of Blood," features a storyline from Issues 34 and 35 that has stayed with me over the years. Miss Wilkinson, the heartless head of a fashion house on the brink of financial disaster, strikes a devil's deal with Dracula to both save her business and exact revenge on her enemies. The Miss Wilkinson storyline has a twist ending that would feel right at home in a classic EC horror tail. Social/Sharing |

It's like a TV drama of that 70's time period shot in b&w! That lighting is very dramatic and cinematic in every well staged panel.
