Description

From out of the depths of the later part of the Silver Age of comics comes the story, "He who strikes the Silver Surfer".Only the second TTA book I had ever read as a kid and would always remember this celestial being who was called the Silver Surfer.This story was arguably one of the greatest "Mano a mano",fight scenes of all time in the history of comics.This was my favorite page and I would always remember the Hulk,after digging his hands into the rock,throwing his man made boulder at the Silver Surfer as he dodges and abruptly states, "Only My Space-Born Speed Saved Me"! The Hulk finally meets his match in this epic 10 page story and I'm thrilled to be able to place it in my gallery and share with fellow collectors. Twice-up page,13.5"x 20",Large panels.

Marie Severin boldly takes on Jack Kirby's Silver Surfer, mixes it with her very own Hulk and comes up with a truly fabulous fight scene!... Those were the days when nothing could go wrong...

As a kid I had a Hulk paperback that reprinted much of Marie Severin's run on the Hulk. I remember this story, and this page, very well!
