DescriptionHappy Batman Day!The amount of detail on this large piece is staggering, even by Frank's standards. I can't imagine how long it took to cross hatch all of that gargoyle and background work. Batman is nicely spotlit with capework to rival the Toddfather himself. All in all, an amazing piece that was impossible to pass up! Social/Sharing |

Absolute kick ass rendition of the caped crusader. Intense, dark, moody and insanely cool! Huge congrats!!

Very nice pick up. Love the detail in the background and the curve of the cape.

A fine modern day masterpiece! At the sizes that Frank Cho works, it is like having multiple Virgil Finlays on staff to crosshatch around the clock.

A stunning piece of work. Frank may get a lot of attention for his female-centric work, but the man is a brilliant artist when it comes to everything he does.

Huuuuge congrats to this piece. Love the two styles with the clean lines at the Batman and the scratchy background. Awesome addition!

There's a glitch in the Matrix. Impossible that I had not commented on this masterpiece. Jaw-dropping epicness. This piece, me, behind the bleachers...

Love that the bat signal shadow is almost a shadow of the actual Batman himself! So much hatch-y goodness here. Congrats!

Can't believe I haven't commented on this. It has everything you'd want from a Cho piece, and the contrast between the Bats figure and the ballpoint crosshatching highlights Cho's signature techniques. This should be a TPB cover!

Looks like he used part of it - Bats and the Goyle - for his Batman 140 variant cover? Have no idea why they didn't use the whole piece since the background is so great!
