Description

A nice panel page with Spidey fighting against Venom, drawn in Ed's larger than life style! Really enjoyed the surprise element panel break in the first panel and the entire flow of the page from start to finish. Poor Spidey getting caught and dragged along by the symbiote again - that trick never fails.

Nice one! I thought this and the big splash were the two best venom pages from Dark Web. And we get just enough hints (the suit camera, embellished suit back) to situate it in the event, but a nice classic Venom that feels timeless.

McGuinness does an excellent job here. The thing that always bugged me about Venom with the long tung sticking out is how that is not more of a target to the point you think he wouldnt stick it out as much😁😅. Congrats on a fun pick up!

Very cool that all of the panels are compromised one way or another by the sheer power of the McGuinness and Rathburn action to set up the Venom fight with Spidey!

I love Ed on Spidey and Venom and this is a great example! His hulk roots really nulk out Venom and his figure work on Spidey is always lithe yet powerful. Congrats!
