DescriptionFantastic page (page 31 of 32) by the great Italian Disney master Romano Scarpa, for his classic „Zio Paperone e la gara da 100 $”...fantastic Scrooge expression in the 3rd panel and a gorgeous silhouette in the final panel…first of two consecutive pages…First published in 1961 in the Italian Topolino 299, the story has been printed over 38 times in at least 12 countries, in Germany it first appeared in the Lustige Taschenbuch No. 85 (1982) and was one of my favorite stories a kid… Social/Sharing |

The layout is well designed to fit the story as Donald communicates out using radio waves signified by the electric jagged borders.
