Description

These two pieces were inspired by the late, great, Dave Cockrum.In the 60's the Legion was abit of a funny book.....it was retro when the strip started, and was even more so in comparison to what "Jack Kirby" was doing at Marvel at the same time.The Legion seemed kinda "old farty" in style.....but then Dave Cockrum came along and the book just blew up.He re-designed the costumes, brought "a fresh" artstyle ......and the book suddenly became a must read.....and then he topped it all a few years later by doing the same to the "X-Men"...........( SaturnGirl is 325. + postage. )
