Description

Absolutely stunning half-splash (p10) from Don Rosa’s 1991 classic “Return to Xanadu” (which is of course a direct reference/homage to Barks’s Tralla La). To me this is the best page of the whole story, with Scrooge slowly realizing where they have landed and the magnificent half-splash that shows all the Ducks overlooking the valley of Tralla La, which is actually the cover motif... Please also look at the additional pictures, I have added a shot of the original preliminary page...

Ah to be a kid again. Actaully I was in university in 91 but Scrooge always brings me back to my childhood. Comics and ice cream. Doesn't get much better than that.
