DescriptionYet another nostalgia purchase. Green Lantern #115 was one of 10 or so comics that I bought as a kid that I read over and over. At the point this came up, I hadn't in my seven or so years of collecting seen a GL 115 come up, so I had to go nuclear to get this one.In October of 2023, my buddy Chuck and I visited the Memphis Comic Con whereupon I spied one Alex Saviuk, the penciller of this page. I flipped through Alex's portfolio and found several pages from Green Lantern #114. So close! When I asked Alex if he had pages from 115 he said "Noooooo, that book went to the inker, Dave Hunt!" I told Alex I'd see him in a couple of weeks at NYCC and that I'd think about buying a page from 114 then. That didn't happen. Flash forward 9 months, this page comes up. Thanks to whoever released this into the wild. No thanks to whoever was bidding against me :) Just kidding, I'm sure you're a fine person. Social/Sharing |

Man, this page is burned into my memory as one of my earliest GL issues. I decided I wanted to have them all. Now I do.
Hope someday to find the right page for me.
Congrats on this pick up.

It's a great looking splash to boot! No wonder it would stick out in your memory. GA and Canary still a part of he book made it an easy buy with the extra heroes. Really cool how the credits are within the artwork itself.

Great page! From the Classic Green Arrow and Green Lantern series. Great splash with all three heroes. Congrats!

Probably someone who this book was one of the first ten or so comics they ever bought and read til the cover came off. You know, the same old story. : - )))))
Congratulations on getting a cherry cover from your treasured past. It's beautiful.
