DescriptionWithin a month of learning about Kevin Anthony Catalan's Space Knights book, I had an opportunity to get on his commission list. Given his style, I drew on my fondest childhood memories of getting the large Raydeen action figure for Christmas 1977, and my love of the Trimpe Godzilla series of the same time period. While my commission was in queue he got tagged for a gig doing a Godzilla book for IDW. Go figure. Very happy with the way this turned out.Social/Sharing |

It's exactly how you'd see it from ground level! You'd freeze and marvel at these two behemoths towering over even the tallest buildings that are being demolished!

Extreme upward perseptive ups the "giant" factor and those are some rich DEEP colors! Congrats, Doug!

Congrats! Catalan's addition of color to this kaiju commission creates a chaotic and kinetic scene that conveys extremely well to the comic art collector. On a side note, how long have you been in Italy? I thought Como was only a couple of days.
