Description

A stunning large commission by the incomparable JAL! Seeing this in person definitely takes the breath away - i am still not sure how he obtains this great texturing effect that looks like layers built upon the page. The layout is great with the massive image of Jei towering over the resolute Usagi (and Grasscutter in the middle!). Sure to be an epic showdown!

As always, thanks to Felix and JAL for this - if you have the chance to pick up a JAL original, would definitely recommend!

You said it- the layered effect is incredible. It adds such depth to the piece and makes you sink into the world. Very cool getting to see his work in person this weekend!

Great cinemtic atmosphere created by the dramatic lighting. It can represent man's struggle against his own demons or against forces that seem too overwhelming. JAL uses this theme to inspire us to stand tall and fight on.

The layering is crazy cool and just an overall awesome piece! I'd love to see JAL do Samurai Jack versus Aku! I think that would come out awesome as well!
