DescriptionI stopped by to see Nick Cardy at a Heroes Con in Charlotte sometime around 2010 and he had one of these on his table. I asked him about it and he said it was a preliminary drawing he had done in advance that would allow him to draw a Wonder Girl commission based on what the person wanted - old costume versus new costume, ponytail versus hair down, etc. I thought it was a cool idea. It is actually two-sided. (See Additional Image)This one is drawn on 8.5 x 11 inch paper and there is a diagonal crease about one third of the way down from the top of the page. It doesn't really detract from the piece, given that this is a prelim, and there are other marks on the page suggesting Cardy intended to shift the orientation of the image.Social/Sharing |
