DescriptionStarving for SW content, all we had were the Marvel Comics and boy did they come out painfully slow. In this mid-twenties part of the series, Princess Leia was commonly seen wearing a cool space suit, but they always gave it a big glass appearance so you could see her classic buns in there. In fact it's on the cover of this one. So I was exited to welcome this pg into the McSpidey vault because it's got a great shot of that. Let's take a gander!Panel 1 - Well this is cool for two reasons. 1. There's a dude named 'Shanks' and two we see a cool view of a Tie Fighter assembly line. Panel 2 - OMG it's the Mole Man! Ok, maybe not, I get this era easily mixed up. It's actually the bad guy Baron Tagge with some really cool glasses -ah the future. Panel 3 - Some space interferencen Panel 4 - Luke and Leia are on a moon in their space suits and there you get the money shot as they say. Color version in alt images Social/Sharing |

Makes my pulse react
That it's Infantino art, boy meeting worlds
Star Wars art attracts
It's physical
Of Infantino
You must try to ignore that your Star Wars' all that
Oh-oh, what's Todd got to do, got to do with this?
Where's Todd with the Spider-Man in motion?
What's Todd got to do, got to do with it?
Who needs his art when this art is by Carmine?

Orman Tagge first appearance issue, and fourth appearance page. I loved the House of Tagge and Tagge Industries throughout the original series, and all the behind the scenes intrigue of an Imperial elite family. And Infantino-Day was always a win-win for a Star Wars issue. Orman had to get the fancy Geordi-esque visor after Vader blinded him with a lightsaber. That's gotta smart.

Another stellar page! Love the detail work on the Ties, and that last panel that reflects the cover scene.
