DescriptionSandra Boynton (1953- ) has been entertaining us with her wonderful drawings of animals in books and cards, and on t-shirts, mugs and whatever other product you can name. When I worked in bookstores in the 1980s, Boynton’s books were always in demand. And with good reason. Her writing was sweet and sharp, and her drawings are just damn cute. Given how much work she’s done over the years, I’m always surprised there aren’t more originals out there. So on that note, I’m pleased to be able to offer a 1996 first edition of Boynton’s “Rhinoceros Tap”, with a very sweet drawing of two Boynton kitties on the front-end page. The hardcover book is all about music and is filled with songs and lovely illustrations. It measures 10¾”x 8¼” and is in Fine+ condition. The sketch and inscription are about 4” tall and as you can see, the drawing is super-sweet. Really uncommon stuff. $75.00 + 8.00 Media Mail shipping.Social/Sharing |
