DescriptionSooo. 6 years ago I was at Baltimore ComicCon at Jerry Ordway’s table when Spencer Beck walked over and handed this page to Jerry and said “José Luis Garcia Lopez mistakenly got this page from DC 30 years ago and wanted to give it back to you….and if you want to sell it, a already have 2 buyers!” To which Jerry said “Well, since I haven’t seen it in 30 years, I think I’ll hold on to it for a little while!” I thought the page was so incredibly cool I took a picture of it. It’s amazing all of the little details Jerry put in from the kid dressed as Luke Skywalker, to the guy with the “I Hate Mutants” pin. If you look around you can find Storm, King Arthur and even some Mickey Mouse ears! I mean, it’s a Splash page with Superman and Lex Luthor on it and what I love most is that it’s at a Comic Book Convention!!!The next year I saw Jerry again and told him I was there when he finally got the page back, and if he ever decided to part with it, to keep me in mind. So every year after I would send him an email, and ask him at the one show I’d usually see him at if he gave any thought into if he was ready to let it go, and he’d say “Maybe next time, but keep asking!” So I did… Two weeks before Terificcon, I got the email if been waiting 5 years for! Wow, such a great splash! So cool to see the Camelot 3000, Luke, and other characters. Congrats on grabbing this one. Persistance paid off!

Ha ha, so much fun packed into this one! Lotsa easter eggs, and man...sometime patience paired with persistencey can pay, right?! :) Congrats, man!
