Descriptionultimate Spider-Man 61 page 23 pencils by mark Bagley inks by Scott Hanna. This is a literal birth page of the first appearance of carnage or the red symbiote in the ultimate universe. Although he's teased in the cover, here is (Ultimate) Carnage's first appearance. Doc Conners took a sample of Peter Parker's blood, and which evolved into this gestating fetus. The last panels transition to red, signifying the death this creature will bring to Parker's life. The page was published with no dialog, so this original art is very close to the published version. This image reappears in the TPB Volumn 11, as a splash page showing the fetus and Carnage together. Social/Sharing |

Not many creators get to redo the origins of their own creations! Carnage is a mainstay thoughout the Spider-verse and this Ultimate version is just as crazy and amazing!
