DescriptionFrom Breaking Points Day 4, which started the close of this era on X-Factor, for a new lineup and swap on characters. At this point in X-Factor (Nov ‘12), Lorna Dane (Polaris) has continued to loose her balance on sanity and her friends are at a loss for how to proceed. Peter David masterfully tells this story in harmony with Leonard Kirk’s beautifully detailed and dramatic art.This page features Banshee II (Theresa Cassidy, formerly Siryn) making a deal with Morrigan for a favor on easing Lorna’s mind to bring her back from the brink of insanity. Theresa talks very candidly with this tired warrior regarding faith and belief. The art is playful but also full of what makes X-Factor’s high drama fun, with the noir-esque feel, especially seen in the semi shadowed face panel. Really like seeing that the rain was penciled in and not a full effect left to the inker. The composition and design were spelled out beautifully in Kirk’s work and also fun to see how this penciler used the “x” pattern on the art for areas to be colored black. I got this page and a few other Kirk pages a few years ago and glad to finally put a page of his on my collection here for others to enjoy. Social/Sharing |

I loved this run of X-Factor stories, and it's great seeing Kirk's pure pencils from that era. A wonderful addition to your gallery!
