Description

My first Marc Silvestri page from his amazing run on WOLVERINE (vol 2). This is from one of my favorite Wolverine saga's which introduces Elsie-Dee and Albert.

When I first saw this page up for auction, I really thought it would be a fun piece to have in my collection for many reasons. Firstly to own an original page from this historic run on Wolverine, having it be a Silvestri/Green page written by Hama makes it that much more of a desired item. Secondly getting a page where I get to see characters I grew up with, interact in an environment that I grew up in. It gives an uncanny feeling (but in a good way) to have the comic mythos combine into my real world, to see characters I love in a place that has real world feelings of stress and pleasure. Oh how I know Los Angeles traffic so well, especially near Venice (either off the 10 or 405), they've captured it nicely. I really enjoy seeing how a worldly character like Wolverine also has to experience it like the rest of us.
