He even made it messy with the staining of the strips to add to the feel of the piece. That's dedication to the craft and the kayfabe.

Clearly, Simmonds was highly influenced both in style and approach, by Master Sienkiewicz! This looks really great and I've been debating trying this book out. I've been told that the first issue alone grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. Typically I avoid series with that much positive hype, but I'm leaning more towards giving it a try when I make my way through the already large "To read" pile of trades I'm currently working through. Kudos, Mikail!
