The celebrated return of Gil Kane to Conan the Barbarian! He pencils and inks and markers these pages with the dynamic and action posed flair of his magnifcent experience designing covers throughout the 70's. Kane has no fear presenting the full range of flexibility and motion in anatomy. Grand adventure in this early page of the story with Conan in a life and death struggle against the "Great Snow-Bear"! Yes, just like Krotopkin the Great, "Great" is in the name of the bear because of his legend already set in stone before Conan ever stepped foot on the snowy foothills.
