Description

Ninja Turtles 17 (Original Art), November 1988.

An original two page spread (pages 12 & 13) from issue 17 of the original comic series by Turtles artist, Eric Talbot.

I always loved Eric�s early Turtles work, the Turtles all looked chunky and seriously mean. Although Talbot�s early style is my favourite, Eastman and early Lavigne follow closely behind.

This is also one of my favourite issues in the run.

Looks great as Turtles moved off the duo tone and into more traditional comics styles. It might have been jarring for some, but it introduced us to less cartoony effects and into impact visuals like this.

Agree!! Miss the old duo tone on some of these and the older style of Talbot on the Turtles
