DescriptionRob did a special hardcover remastered version of the original Youngblood mini series about 15 years ago, and had it all completely re-scripted by writer Joe Casey with new dialogue and a new ending. This page is one of the new ending pages, and is a full splash featuring Die Hard fighting against Darkthorne! I was mostly trying for the other page that was up with this one, as I wanted both, but was only able to get this one. But it is still a very cool page!Rob works where he does his prelim sketches in a small notebook, then he scans that drawing and blows it up to print in blueline on an 11x17 art board. So the blue lines you see are just the prelim frame of the drawing. Then he pencils over that to finish the pencils, and then he or an inker will ink over that and erase the pencils as usual. So his pages from this period look like regular bluelines, but are still fully pencilled by Rob on the board. Also, Rob added some of the inks over Adelso's inks, so Rob did a lot on this page, which you can see him say in the screenshot I have in the additional images. Big time splash! They could make something like this into a cover easy and it would revel in the glorious 90's in how it is composed.
