Description

This is the final Key Movie Poster artwork to "Duck Tales - The Movie - Treasure of the Lost Lamp", the 1990 movie to the beloved TV-series, by the great Drew Struzan (as far as I know, the only time he drew Uncle Scrooge). The full artboard is a massive 76,5cm x 102cm (!) and the detail is really incredible�
I grew up (in Germany) with Duck Tales and remember seeing that motif everywhere: movie poster, comicbook cover, cassette cover, coffee mug, etc� Even my wife (who grew up in Sweden) had the cassette (which was of course handed over to our children) with this motif!!!
So I�m thrilled to add this memorable painting to my collection�

Lovelovelove this one! I was always curious how Struzan tackled something so seemingly simple, and it is just so detailed!! Very cool piece.

What a classic! Fond memories of this movie. My daughters favorite movie when she was little. We must have watched it 1000 times. The vhs tape is worn out! Congrats

Wow, that was fast! Aren't manias great? This painting is first-rate too, but I like the Muppets just a littte more, due to the brighter colors. But they are both wonderful.
