Description

Just finished reading this trade recommended by my friend Carmine Gawain (nice gallery) and I loved the book and the art. I think it’s right up there with some of the 1980s and 1990 series. The pencils and inks are on separate pages, the inks on a blue lined copy. Love the descriptive panels and the flow of the story telling. But also the striking look of the Owl villain and Batman’s glazed expressions.

So good! It put the fear factor back into the Batman titles to open up all sorts of new rogues more dangerous than the ones before.

Damn Rob- awesome page- congrats on the big score- Bats versus Cobb - it doesn't get better than that - I hope that the version you read had the turning of the pages to allow the reader to fall like Bruce as he descends into madness- don't tell Dave that you really enjoyed the story lol

Awesome page from an iconic story. Definitely somehwere in the top 200 Best Batman Stories :-)
