Description

I’ve been told that this version was originally intended by Lisa to be the final art for the cover but that it didn't pass muster with editorial due to minor issues with the costume design (primarily it seems with regards to elements in the design of the bodice). As a result, she completely redid the illustration for the published cover. Not sure if the story is true, but either way, I’m quite happy with this piece, and it was significantly less expensive than the published version.

I’ve included the final image from the DC solicit for the issue for comparison. As you can see, the two versions are very similar.

What a WW piece! The rendering of her skin is as active to the senses as the texturing to her costume! Congrats!

Her work is luminous and sensuous. Great smudging effect on the background. It's very dynamic.
