I was watching a claim show with no intention of claiming anything, but the art was so damn good that I couldn't resist.

Death is all around us, but right now we are alive. Manix brings the most delicate touch to this piece, and artistic consideration is everywhere.

Has there ever been a greater use for her iconic umbrella? The placement of them atop a hill, the color choices, and the macro image are all genius.

Wonderful Abrera example! My favorite of the pieces from that claim show. Love the character design, colors, textures on the hill, and the looming foggy image of death in the background

This was definitely a good grab. The other one they had that day was pretty damn good too, but this one was the better of the two.

Absolutely wonderful write-up, M L, which compliments the piece perfectly. A wonderfully elegant and sensitive touch to a subject that could be heavy-handed or (even worse) full of awkwardness. Really, really great pick up - congrats!
