Beware the Man with the Stolen Soul--Stalker!

There's this teeny little thing in this hobby I don't see mentioned a lot, and it's that moment you get a SECOND page from the same book! It's an interesting coolness factor that I'm really enjoying with my second Stalker page from issue #4! Stalker and Machine Man were my main mags from Ditko, outside of Spidey, Doc Strange, and some Shade the Changing Man. And, man did I dig Stalker: Levitz, Ditko & Wood = action, crossed swords, barbed whips, and three-headed guardians of the gates of Hell!

Real fun seeing Ditko taking on the adventure sword and sandal genre! It maybe aligns with his philosophy of simply presenting good and evil.

Stalker needs to put the sword away. Just needs to scratch him behind the ears and rub his belly and they will be his friend forever.

Wow! Steve Ditko and Wally Wood, two giants of the comic art world, on the same page? Awesome! Fun Sword and Sorcery page featuring Stalker facing off against a three-headed demon protecting the gates of Hell. Ditko and Wood were always willing to tackle projects with crazy characters and interesting twists. They weren't afraid to take chances, they just plunged ahead and did whatever struck their fancy. Great pick-up, congrats!
