Description

Kind of a quiet story page, but with Spidey in every panel.

The setup is in Amazing Spider-Man annual 13 Spidey and Doc Ock had an epic fight. Here we see Spidey web-spinning back to the construction site where they had a battle and he finds a Doc Ock arm under the building's freight elevator.

Will this give him a clue to where to find Doc?

Love this page , the Mooney inks over Buckler are fantastic !!!

Maybe he wanted to destroy the arm before Cyberdyne industries got a hold of it. You can see the athleticism Buckler puts into the figurework and how Mooney intuitively polishes it to fit into the evergreen the house style.

It's OK, octopuses grow back arms. Much like spiders. I really like Buckley's and Mooney's work together. It's crisp and bold, and they really know how to draw a quiet bit impactful scene, like here. And all that background detail is so nice. Great score. Congrats!
