Description

1979 - I was 11 yrs old and consuming all the Spidey content I could get my hands on. PPSM was a great second title behind ASM because you got some fun different stories from the main attraction and it came out on different weeks so you filled that month long gap of content which felt like an eternity.

In this issue Pete has not only been bit by the spider, but also took some Doc Connors Lizard juice - Spider Lizard!

Enjoy.

Curiously this says Sal Buscema on the back, but the book clearly is Springer on the title page?

Nostalgic cover and color version and back with stamp, sub'd panel and salb in alt images.

Crispy drawing, proud Springer line
Without warning, a Lizard walks by
Casting his shadow, weaving his tail
No lab coat, tinkling scales

Never talking
Just keeps hissing
Spreading his comics

Lizard Spider now appears
Villamonte when the Lizard is near
He turns inks into joy
Everyone's happy when the lizard walks by
