DescriptionIn this action-packed page from 1963's FANTASTIC FOUR #19, our heroes, trapped in ancient Egypt, follow their own unique routes in characteristic FF fashion through the interior of the Sphinx (in reality a hangar for their adversary's space/time traveling "satellite globe"). The page features Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Girl, the Thing, and the Human Torch, along with some swell Kirby backgrounds and the villainous Rama-Tut. Social/Sharing |

Yowza! Fabulous FF page by the King himself! Love the first two panels showing Reed Richards and the Thing entering Rama-Tut's Sphinx in their own distinctive ways! Beautiful page from Silver Age!

Kirby's genius brought us along for the ride as piece by piece of the house of ideas is put together with carefully crafted storytelling to communicate adventure and action with a flair that makes us a part of their family with a stake in their chacters' triumphs and defeats. This is very much an artifact that tells us so much more than what is on the page.

Rama-Tut... aka Kang! It's like a two-in-one villain!

The King! Great page - really historic! The arrangement of the opening panel is terrific, and there's even a shot of Rama-Tut! Fabulous!

I bet Mr Fantastic hasn't had to get even one bottle of Draino in his life. Man, this whole page is incredible, but that first panel is absolutely killer. What a gorgeous and historic page. Super sweet score. Big congrats!
