DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Large and impressive 25-1/8x35-1/8" open frame contains oil painting original art by noted fantasy and comic book artist Dorian Cleavenger. Image area measures 19.75x29.75" and art shows pulp hero The Shadow engaged in gunfight w/unseen assailants. The Shadow holds unconscious buxom blonde as he fires back from under rat-infested pier. Cleavenger has signed and added "06" date at lower right. Trace wear at lower left corner but o/w Exc. Comes w/pair of 8.5x11" stiff sheets of paper featuring pencil preliminary original art for this specialty piece. One features The Shadow w/still conscious woman and shooters clearly visible in distance while other is closer to finished piece. Both have been signed and are Exc. Social/Sharing |
