DescriptionI was pretty impressed by this cover off the solicits, and then even more so when I saw the OA. Touches of color are always extremely striking and appreciated. As a cover it’s almost perfect - sets up the situation efficiently. Mike Perkins continues to slay this series.The title is an overlay. Yes this is is a winner. You keep coming up with talented artists to make that gallery bloom. I'll keep sneaking in to seem them admission free.

A killer Swamp Thing illustration and all the scratch board technique gives off the impression of a driving rain in the extremely wet jungle. Excellent cover from an excellent series!

A striking effect with the heat signature shown by a target scope. It also doubles as a view of the globe and the heat signature of our world.

It's absolutely bonkers that the target effect isn't a digital add-on. I mean the man took the time to hand-render in the pixelation too? Just STOP, Mike Perkins. He just keeps hitting new levels.

Sorry buddy, that's my bad, I forgot that the overlay sharpened up the colors a bit - while Perkins spotted the color, he didn't pixelate it.

Man, some outstanding detail here, and the colors really pop. Does appear that Perkins really got a chance to show OUT on this particular book. Congrats!

How did I not comment on this when it first burst forth on CAF? Must have been so dazzled my fingers refused to type. This particular pose and aspects of the handling/shading remind me of several comic gods, including Wrightson of course but also John Buscema and Frazetta, but of course this is unmistakably Perkins at his new best. What a unique, but grounded, style he has developed
