Description

At Heroes Con 2023, Aikins put this remarque in the front of his book Pop Culture Portrait Drawings Volume One. The book is filled with amazingly accurate headshots of characters from Boris Karloff to Buster Crabbe. For remarques, Aikins had a sign requesting "no likenesses," but I think he did quite an accurate likeness of Rocket Raccoon, don't you? "Head slightly turned" is the most difficult angle to pull off since the sides of the face are no longer symmetrical in perspective.

It's the angry Rocket too, so Aikins had to put enough anthropomorphism for human emotions to show through.
