Description"X-Factor"January 1983 Just after his monumental work in X-Men series, JB came back to FF to create the "second golden age" on that title. Much has been written about, then nothing to add ... This page is a perfect exemple of what he did! Six pannels, six! With Spidey investigating. Just an awesome sequence to discover FF are in trouble! I have to say huge thanks to Mario for giving me the opportunity of having this beautiful page! Social/Sharing |

Great Byrne Spidey example! Got him in every panel in different scale/size/poses. Love that top one! Congrats!

So awesome! I actually saw this page in a How to Draw book I think he took part in and it wasn't till later that I read the comic.

Hey, there's a hand on my taffy?! What a fantastic issue. And peak Byrne! I loved all the cameos in this issue, even if a lot were [spoiler alert]. ;) Great score. Huge congrats!

An absolutely unforgettable and -gorgeous- opening sequence to one of the most fun (and beautiful) issues of the FF ever done. Byrne's fantastic technique of beginning the action with a character outside the group (who is then drawn into the web of events) is such a brilliant and seemingly effortless, organic way of bringing the readers up to speed... And Byrne's art and visual storytelling are -easily- as impressive as his plotting and scripting here; dynamic, fluid images that grab the reader and never let them go, because of both their beauty and their perfect storytelling flow. To have -one- example is impressive... to have these two consecutive examples is legendary! :) CONGRATS, Toni, on a spectacular collection! Yowza!
