Description"X-Factor"Jannuary 1983 Dreams come true! I could add in my collection this beautiful John Byrne's page. I would like to have the full sequence where Spidey is swinging through New York City when he spots the stretched out body of Mr. Fantastic, defeated in his battle against Gladiator of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. "We were lucky Reed, if the Skrulls had launched a full-scale assault ..." CAPTAIN AMERICA Social/Sharing |

I've done a big effort! I've "sacrified" pieces I was in love with... but it makes sense! I'm happy! Huge thanks!

It's the classic prime Byrne quality on this issue that is one of his all time best. Revisiting Spidey after his Uncanny run is really eye opening compared to his earlier MTU efforts. This was when he was at the top for many of us.

Thanks so much Marcus for your ongoing support! As you said one of the things (among others...) that make this issue special is to have Spidey as guest! Also I agree with you that John Byrne's peak period is majetic. He deserves a seat at the Hall of Fame of The House of Ideas!

Is it time for the Festivus Feats of Strength already? (Seinfeld reference). You must have one heck of an art source, because you keep pulling out these gems, Toni. :) This is peak Byrne, imo, and one of my very favorite issues he did (I have a page, too). Gorgeous. Huge congrats!

Congratulations on picking up a John Byrne Fantastic Four page! I see you also got Spider-Man as an extra bonus! Great page, especially that top panel with Spider-Man looking down on the city from above!

Thanks so much Bill!! Please notice I also have the previous page! I have a dream... to complete de full sequence! I'm looking for the 250 title splash. I would like to have pages 1, 2 and 3. I've been asking to some Byrne collectors but anyone has ever seen the 250 title splash... Thanks my friend!!!

Glorious Byrne storytelling! An unforgettable opening to a barnburner of a comic, Byrne was nestling in fun and unorthodox POV shots (like panel 1) alongside classic, clear storytelling, blowing my 12-year old mind at the time! :) Congratulations, Toni, on piecing together a chunk of this all-time classic jigsaw! Beautiful!
