Description"Like a Phoenix!"January 1986 Before saying a word, I have to express my gratitude to Rafa for letting this beauty go! This is just awesome! Muchas gracias Rafa! Fantastic Four #286 is a very relevant issue under FF's and UXM's runs! Under FF perspective is the only issue where John Byrne and Terry Austin worked together. Once again, Terry Austin's inks give to the artwork a very special flavour. His touch is a kind of magic! Under UXM perspective there is nothing to add to the tons of pages have been written. Jean Grey's resurrection has become an event that still provoques discussions... This page is very special. We can see Jean still wearing the broken dress (by Wolvie - UXM98). We can also see Wolvie and Marvel Girl (Sentinel) (UXM100) in a flashback. This page has a lot of main Marvel caracthers (Sue, Jean, Reed. Steve...). Among all... Wolverine with his claws off. When you get the Byrne / Austin team back together, it better be for a big event issue! Return of Jean is very significant!

Wow, Toni, WAY to ring in '23! So many heroes gettin' the Byrne treatment, highlighted by that first panel Wolvie! Straight quintessential shot, no doubt accentuated by them sublime Austin inks. And you gotta dig 4 o'clock shadow Reed :) Congrats!
