DescriptionI read the first Animal Man TPB back in 1990, and I was blown away - it was like nothing my 15 year-old mind had read before. I read and re-read that TPB and loved each and every page...BUT, this particular page just "spoke" to me. The image of Buddy in the third panel is my all-time favorite of him, and when the chance to buy this page came up I jumped as fast as I could. Seminal series, legendary creators, and a page that I've loved for 30+ years? This is why I love this hobby!Social/Sharing |

Nice catch-the Mirror Master story was a stand out in the series

Remarkably good storytelling! The pace is just right to have just a bit of guilt mixed in Animal Man and the maniacal smile of Mirror Master in the heart of the page.

Beautiful and memorable page from Grants classic run, which made him (together with the superbly weird Doom Patrol) known in the US comic scene in the days of (Pre-) Vertigo yore at DC. Particular great story (and cover) with a freaked out Mirror Master !
