Description

When I was working for an alternative weekly in Cleveland I got the opportunity to cover the cast party for Harvey Pekar's American Splendor. I thought it'd be a kick to do it as a comic (that's me with a notebook in the bottom right of the second to last panel). So this is my one and only credit as a comic writer. Also my first comic art. Thanks Gary Dumm for introducing me to this expensive hobby!

Let me get this straight.... You got to hang out with the cast and write yourself in your own American Splendor story?!?! You may very well be the luckiest man alive. Harvey Pekar is the best thing since sliced bread. And how.
