A very nice cover I had been watching literally for years before pulling the trigger.

Juan Bobillo is an Argentinian artist whose work is sadly much too rare on the US market. I have loved anything he has worked on with a preference for his (rounder) She-Hulk and X-Men work. His work is always solid, different and fresh.

This cover comes from the end of the F.Nicieza run on T-bolts before the (failed?) attempt at Fight club T-bolts in the Marvel universe by John Arcudi.

I have always responded well to symmetric compositions in art and it doesn�t come much more symmetric than this one.

The character (Anomaly is his name)�s position. The radiation, crackling energy and the on the nose Yin & Yang symbol. Even the space and place devoted to the drawing on the board play into the symmetry of it all.

And while Anomaly�s design and not to be messed with attitude may remind some of the worst 90s Image days, I like it, especially all that radiating energy which is differently done than the usual (great) Kirby dots.

Delighted to finally own a piece by Bobillo and that this one didn�t escape me after years of watching.

Sigh...I THINK I like the character design and I THINK I like the simple composition which looks lovely, but it's hard to tell with this crappy quality image. But yes, we've gone through this before, I know! Anyway, I'm glad to know you finally found yourself a piece by this guy after patiently looking for a long time!

Beautiful (and wonderfully symmetrical) piece, F M. This is a rare case where I actually think the colored version may be my favorite, as the orange really pops there and underscores the linking/energy feed element of the piece. Very striking for sure; great pick up (and fun to add one to the gallery that you've been watching for years elsewhere :) ) - congrats!

Kirby Krackle can make almost any image better. I like how Bobillo uses it to denote internal energy and character held together by the suit (?). And the yin yang with matching composition elements was a strong choice. I'm glad it waited for you. :) Congrats!
